Libre 2 Seems to keep getting jammed

Hey, new round here but thought I would try this out.

So I have been using Libre 2 since around may ish this year. most of the time works great and how it should. But I seem to get a problem when applying it every now and then.

so the first time I did it followed the instructions worked fine and applied fine. read the instructions again to make sure I'm doing things correctly the next couple of times. works perfectly. so I carried on doing that and worked fine then. Then I got this problem of it getting jammed. got a replacement worked fine. now every now and then I find it gets jammed when trying to apply one.

When I put the sensor on my arm and push it doesn't do anything. I can push as hard as I want but it won't physically go in or click or anything, seems to be jammed.

couldn't find anyone with this kind of issue, so wanted to see if a more experienced person with Libre could give some advice on what may be going on.

I've had that happen once as well. Was told it was a faulty sensor by Abbott who seemed to be aware it could be a problem.

Happened to me a couple of times.
You can un-jam the bit of plastic by fiddling with where it hangs, but do it careful: if it accidentally goes all the way down it won't work anymore!

I've had it happen the other way around as well: the plastic bit that needs to move moved completely freely, instead of hanging until you push hard, Uncomfortable because this means you feel the needle.
This can be solved by pulling it gently up until it clicks. Pull it up too far and it will become stuck (that's how I discovered how to un-jam it).

I plan to change my sensor later today and I'll try to make some pictures to explain better!
 
Hi @TheHarri01 , I managed to take some pictures to make it more clear. I even got lucky and had the thing move too freely after putting both parts of the sensor together, so I added a picture of that as well.
I didn't dare testing my luck by trying to get it in the jammed position as well, but if you still have yours, you can compare it with my pictures.

First pic is how it should be.
Part '1.' makes sure the blue moving part doesn't go too high up. If the little hooked bottom slips up past the white part, it gets jammed. I think by blue part '2.' slipping on top of the sensor, which then holds the blue part firmly in place.
Solved by pushing '2.' out (all 3 of them at the same time, which is a bit of a puzzle) while gently pushing down the blue part until '1.' clicks in place.



Second pic is what it looks like when the blue part is moving freely, which can happen when combining both parts, or when trying to unjam it as explained above.
Part '2.' has now slipped past the little ridge holding the blue part up.
When applying a sensor, part '2.' is pushed over that little ridge once you press hard enough, making sure you'll press hard enough to get the sensor in place.
In the position where it is now, it doesn't stop the blue part so you'll feel the needle pricking your armbefore inserting. I don't know about you, but I do not like that sensation one bit! It should still be possible to properly insert it when it is like this, but I'm not brave enough to try.

Easily solved by gently pulling the blue part up until it clicks in place.

Just luck it happened to be sensor change day for me so I could make the pictures.

This will be me for the next couple of days, like every two weeks.
How do people even remember what arm their sensor is on?
