I have been a type 1 diabetic for about 14 years and I am now in my 70’s, living in East Sussex where I think the care I get is excellent. Due to family circumstances we may be relocating to Lytham St Annes/Southport area. East Sussex have just put me on the Libre Sensor 2 , which have high/low glucose alarms, and I am very pleased with the technology. Does anybody know if the area we are planning to move to prescribe the type 2 sensors on the NHS. I would also like to know what the diabetic standard of care is in that area. Thank you in advance for any replies....
