Being diabetic lol.
Hi. I’m type 2 and have been doing a free trial on libre 2. I’m on medication not insulin. My bloods straight after I eat often go up to 11/12 but after 2 hrs are within the guidelines. My time in range is 92%. Should I worry about these immediate high bloods?
I do like the libre as I like to b made aware if I’m going too low - which happens at work mainly at the end of my shift when I kno I need to eat. I’m 57 & been T2 for 7 years. Thanks.

Hi @SuNuman, I'm also Type 2, using Libre (2+). I find it very useful for checking not only food but also stress and poor sleep, which I think are important factors. I can't get the hang of finger pricking, so my CGM is quite essential, but it would be good if you could check if your readings tally with a BG meter. If they are reasonably close and your A1c is controlled, then I'd think you're doing fine, but of course you can work on bringing down the 11/12s.

This is just my lay opinion. I hope you have a good medical team looking after you.

Aw thank you. This has made me feel better. I actually love using it and am funding it myself after a free trial. I love the fact it lets me kno I’m low before I start feeling ill - so I can address it sooner. My bloods are the same as the finger tests. Thank you for your reply. X.
