Libre Sensor 2 - PLEASE BE CAREFUL - Recent Issues

I am also having multiple reliability issues with Libre after several years of use. It used to be accurate within 1 for most of the time, but in the last year or so I have frequently had sensors reading 3-4 points off, and just failing a lot of the time.

I use xDrip so can calibrate but that’s a bit of a gamble when it is so far out. And Abbott always replace but it’s such a hassle to be constantly asking for replacements which may not even work!

I've just removed my free trial Libre 2 sensor for pretty much exactly this. 2 days ago, readings from sensor took a massive nosedive, well into hypo territory. Thought it really odd because I felt absolutely fine. BG test 6.4. Monitor kept diving. Phone app kept buzzing. I kept comparing. App "you're going to black out soon", BG "you're ace". Had to switch the phone alarms off during the night. Morning, sensor telling me I'm sky high, BG still mid 6's. The sensor is now sitting on my desk and I'm sticking with pre/post meal blood tests.

Emailed Abbott. Response for more information is understood but feels a wee bit like it is designed to be difficult. Have answered all the questions and sent all the screen shots. Let's see.
 
I have had the same many times , normally It's when a new device is used, it has told me many times I am well into a hypo but finger prick tells different the libre software is diabolical so use xdrip or from the app store Shuggah {same app as xdrip + works with Apple Watch} and fit a sensor a couple of days before the active one expires but not activated it yet until the other one expires.
 
I find the sensors sometimes unreliable for the first 2 days. I use Nexus strips to check BS when LIbre2 indicates >10 or <4.
