Libre Sensors coming off in the heat

Update:
I bought some Kino tape, but found that 5cm wasn't wide enough.
Then I discovered I had a couple of Softpore Adhesive Dressings.
They are 10cm x 10cm.

This is my current routine:

1. 48 hours before the sensor is due.
Shave the area for the new sensor.
(I have set a reminder on my phone)

2. 24 hours before the sensor is due.
Wash, clean and dry the area.
(another reminder)

3. Clean the area around the new sensor site using a medical swap that comes with the new sensor.

4. Taking great care to avoid the 1cm spot where the needle for the Libre will go, apply SkinTac around the new sensor site.

5. Whilst waiting for the SkinTac to go "tacky", prepare the new Libre Sensor.

6. Attach the new Libre sensor.
After attaching a new sensor, give it 24 hours to settle in.

=====
7. Start new sensor using LibreView or Libre Reader.

8. Attach MiaoMiao to the sensor.
I attached my MiaoMiao to the sensor, just using the small oval tape that you get with your MiaoMiao.
I did not attach the MiaoMiao to my skin.

Then I checked that my MiaoMiao was working with xDrip.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU CHECK THIS HERE, BEFORE THE FINAL STEPS, IN CASE YOU NEED TO RESET YOUR MIAOMIAO. Because the reset on a MM1 is underneath it!!

9. Finally I put the 10cm x 10cm dressing over both the Libre and the MiaoMiao.

This has been on 9 days now, and there IS a little bit of lifting at the edges of the dressing, but I shower every day and it gets wet, so I think it's to be expected.

This will mean having to buy the dressings and the Skin Tac Wipes.
So, there will still be some expense.

However, I don't even think about it now, whereas when I had an armband I found that I checked it a lot.

I'm in Belize and I'm having the same problem. And you can't reuse them one they come off . I'm afraid to put another on its to expensive this is the 2nd in a week to come off . I pay out of pocket

Report them as faulty to Abbot. They should replace them free of charge

Yes, same problem here. It's happened twice in the past week or so - I'm currently using a sock bandage to secure the sensor which is working OK thus far. It has to be the heat since they usually stick very well and are difficult to remove.

I have had a faulty sensor previous to this which was replaced but it is a real pain having to phone and go through all the hoops - especially since I was talking with a Chinese woman who barely spoke a word of English. Hence my reluctance to phone again.

If you look on their website they have an online form to fill in to request a replacement. I find that easier than phoning.

Thank you
For the benefit of anyone else needing this the form can be found at the address on the attached txt file - Sorry, the forum will not allow me to paste a direct link.
