Type 2 Libre z

Mine auto tells me what the level is it will not let me scan it though when I place my phone over the sensor

You don't say what type of phone and what OS version you have.

If it is an iPhone and IOS 17, then you might want to read https://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/threads/ios-17-and-freestyle-libre.199325/ (but then I would have thought Apple would know all about that.)

I don't have an iPhone so can't really help.
