Diet drinks - the artificial sweeteners taste vile.
Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
I weighed a Lidl roll last week and it came in at 90 grams.

This week some of the rolls looked bigger (as in wider) so I took some and when I weighed one it was at the old 130 grams.

Not sure if they have changed again, or if there are two weights from the same or different suppliers.

Anyway, bigger is better!
[For rolls, that is.]

Yes LGC, they do come in 2 sizes - people here have noticed this before. IIRC, there was talk of this being a "sizeflation" measure, but both sizes still seem to be around.......just be glad we can get 'em at all!

Good evening yes ours are 90 grams got 12 to day put them in the freezer should last me a week

Someone about these forums did report that Lidl had replied to them admitting they had 2 suppliers, and each was a different size.
Personally this is one of the few times I have welcomed 'shrinkflation' as I could not manage a whole one previously

Hopefully they have the same ingredients.

Hopefully they have the same ingredients.

Lidl publish their bakery nutritional information, so I would be surprised if they allowed a material variance in ingredients/size/quality from any of their suppliers.

It appears they do have a difference.

History as I understand it is they started out 130 grams, then changed to 90 grams (Lidl said they had changed suppliers) and now they are up to 130 grams again.

More roll for the same money sounds good; less roll for the same money wasn't the strongest selling point.
