I started to really feel symptoms in 2007 and I did every possible test to make sure it wasn't related to gastric bypass. I also saw two different gastroenterologists and both found nothing. I saw my surgeon who did gastric bypass and he said nothing went wrong with the surgery. I did go gluten free in 2007 and that helped at the time but I think it's because I was on a low carb diet and it controlled my blood sugar.
I think it's more of a drop in blood pressure. When I went for the OGTT the nurse took my blood pressure when I started to feel sick and normally my blood pressure is 120/70-80 and it was 110/60. It's not very low but I read it's the drop in blood pressure that makes you sick. Whenever I eat I feel that way so I'm assuming it's low blood pressure because my blood sugar is normal.
I know it is a sugar issue because some issues have gotten better. I am not as thirsty, I don't pee as much, my dry skin is better, my eye floater is much better and some other random health issues improved. It's just when I eat I feel sick.
