Hi I am a type1 diabetic who controls with lantus and novorapid. I had a couple of night time fits that were linked to hypoglycemia about 6 years ago but these stopped when i changed to Lantus.
Has anyone had a fit that was linked to their blood sugar as I think i had one last week but as i live on my own now I was wondering how you recognise it from the after effects.
I had the same problem that stopped after moving to lantus. You will know if you've had a fit all your muscles ache, you might have bitten your tongue and you lose the morning after. If you are unsure it is unlikely you have had one as they are so severe on your body.
