I have a serious problem, whenever my blood sugars go low while I am asleep at 3 a.m in the night or 5 p.m in the evening I do not sense to go to the rest room, but urinate that causes bet wetting. Has anyone faced this problem. Is it because of any other problem how do I solve it?
There used to be a prescription medication called Desmospray that one of my sons used (he does not have Diabetes) many years ago. I know that it works for adults, however, I do not know if this is a safe drug for those with Diabetes to use but it may be worth asking your doctor.
how long since you were diagnosed. uti were a symptom of it and really bad thrush. if its an on going uti. you will need to get a culture done to see which bug and which antibiotic is needed. some are quite resistant.
I was recently diagnosed, urine culture shows no infection but a pap smear shows lot of polymorphs, it is an infection for which I have been suggested antibiotic and an external tablet to be inserted for two weeks and a repeat pap smear after 3 weeks to rule out any growth of cancerous white cells.
How often are you hypoing at night?
If this is happening often, this is not healthy and needs to be resolved.
It may be a case of reducing your insulin or going to bed with a higher BG.
I suggest you discuss this with your health care team.
Focusing on your bed wetting is focusing on the symptoms whereas you should be curing the route cause.
The frequency is very high almost thrice a week. But do eat in the night before I got to bed after testing my blood sugar.
If the blood sugars are high then I leave it as such. I am unable to manage it during night time.
