I've experienced something of an anomaly today. I've eaten normally but my bs have remained low (for me) as below:

Fasting: 6.9 (normal for me)
noon: 5.1
lunch +2: 4.6
Before supper: 5.5
Supper +2: 5.1
Bedtime: 5.9

My food today has been

B - Greek yoghurt, berries, flaxseed and sprinkling of chopped walnut
L - avocado, prawns and mayo, cucumber and salad leaves
Supper - to test my bs I had 2 slices of white bread spread with coleslaw and cream cheese. I don't normally eat bread as it spikes me to double figures but I've tested every 30 mins and at +2 was 5.1 and +3 was 5.9

I feel ok but lacking in energy.

Does this seem right to you?

looks ok to me ... If they are lower than you are used to then you may feel a little off, but your body will soon adjust

Thank you for the reassurance. Yes definitely feel a little off. There seems to be a shift taking place. 5.9 fasting this morning.

Hi

Have you been unusually stressed? Or more active than usual?
Any health issues that may be looming?
Could even be the ending of a period of stress...?

I agree with Enclave that if you have been stable for a while, even a shift like that will feel unsettling.

Or were you cold?

@Wurst just made an excellent point (in another thread) that the cold can lower bg

Hi Brun

Thanks for your thoughts. Definitely wasn't cold! Yesterday was a pyjama day spent mostly in front of a roaring log fire, doing very little, but thank you for the info about the cold.

I'm going with @Enclave's theory as my energy has returned but I've maintained the lower numbers today too, apart from experimenting again with a single slice of bread this morning. I spiked after 35 mins, which explains why I missed it yesterday when I was testing hourly.
