I have prediabetes. I have noticed a few times that when I test my blood glucose before tea my level has been 4.2. 4.4.4.5. I had lunch about 1.30 today then a couple of crackers at 6 and my bs at 7.30 was 4.4. Is this something to be concerned about?

In my opinion your readings are typical for a non diabetic person and nothing to be concerned about.

These are in the non diabetic acceptable levels and so nothing to worry about

Thank you for your replies. I kept reading that you shouldn't drive under 4 so thought I ought to check! I have been like this for years just I didn't know what the bs level was

Lol, not meant to drive under 5. This only applies to people on sugar lowering meds, insulin and some tabs incase levels continue to fall whilst driving.
