I would certainly need to bolus for bacon and eggs. I personally eat vlc so I gluconeogenisis very quickly especially in the morning. If I don't eat I rise too so I bolus BF right as I start eating but I mostly eat fat for BF as I can't handle any carbs other than a piece of lettuce. I add a small piece of turkey with mustard and mayo. Protein can raise you too. I am very IR in the morning and wouldn't think of not bolusing. The bolus generally covers the small meal and the morning natural rise. It's tricky in the morning.
