ok another post made me think, i appologise if its stupid but it wont be my first stupid post and im afraid it wont be my last

i think we should all remember this next time we look at a naughty treat,
im on a diet.... im hungry......

a} i could eat this ginger nut biscuit or a low fat yogurt..... or
b} i could buy 20 big joints of various meats 6 turkeys 4 chickens and a guiney foul, roast them, spread them out on the table and stuff myself stupid....

hmmm which a} or b} will make me less hungry and not put my blood glucose up?

although tongue in cheek, this in my opinion is low carbing in a nutshell, if you eat the biscuit how long after eating it would you be hungry? im guessing immediately, but for the same amount of carbs you can eat a big plate of food and be satisfied for hours, thats why it works

The meat would cost considerably more than the ginger biscuit, but your right on which would fill you up the more

But andy, I would know how much insulin and when to inject for the biscuit, that much protein id be injecting guess amounts every couple of hours lol

I low carb inbetween meals alot though. Protein a very good snack between meals and supper, without impacting too much on levels
