Well, if you are staying in a B&B, then I can tell you exactly how I would handle it.
English Breakfast!
Just for heaven's sake don't eat the same thing every day - that way lies disaster!
So have bacon and egg one day. Sausage and egg the next. Keep going till you have cycled through the options, then start again. Avoid all toast, hash browns and starchy cereals.
You may be able to skip lunch altogether, if you fill up enough at brekkie. If not, a coffeencream will get you past any snacks and low points during the day.
Does the canteen offer salad options? If so, cold meat or fish, salad and mayo are a great LC option.
Presumably you are finding your own dinner? I do fine with careful choices in Indian Food, not so much with Chinese. And every corner shop sells cheese, cold meat and fish, salad bags, etc etc. I used to have an emergency stock of tuna in my luggage, and in an emergency I just opened a tin and ate it with a teaspoon. Nowadays I would add mayo, but back in those days I was still trying the low fat delusion
