low sugar level

My friend has just checked his sugar levels with my monitor and his reading is 3.4, what would you recommend he does?

Have you got lucozade or dextrose pills?
Then a little sandwich, as if not then the blood sugar will keep dropping! Then after something to eat re check blood sugar again!

If he's not got diabetes it doesn't mean much really. His liver will either dump a load of glucose into his system or he can eat something.

That's about as low as a non-diabetic can go, but all they feel is hungry. It's only really a problem to diabetics using insulin. there the suar level can keep dropping to dangeerous levels
Hope you used a fresh lancet too! .
