I might ask if anyone is able to recommend a low-sugar, zero-alcohol drink? I no longer drink alcohol and do like some of the zero drinks, but became aware some have quite a bit of sugar in them.

7-up and sprite both seem good to me the zero sugar variants sometimes add a splash of robinsons creations for a wee change.

if you like coffee a wee bit of sugar free syrup hazlenut contains 0g sugar/carbs etc tiny bit of salt in it for a pleasant change, then its just the lactose (sugar) from the milk can use almond milk to reduce even further ... if required

black tea mint leaf yummy

learned lesson at cinema to avoid their Sugar Free - slushie equivilent bad idea Tango Ice Blast or something avoid like the plague no sugar?... omfg what the heck 25+ blood sugar huge amount of something in those. carbs convert to sugar... so check the lable on the carb content alongside ingrediants for sweeteners... some sugar free sweets have 95+g carbs per 100g worth checking both sugars and carbs in things

Thank you, sadly, I react to the Aspartine in diet drinks and was really interested in the Low or Zero Beers.
theres a thread about low beers... i'll try find it and tag u in it if thats of use?

i've tagged you in the following thread: https://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/threads/zero-carb-beer.192130/

if your asking for zero alcohol at all but still 'alcoholic taste' theres another thread which can maybe find later on. let know if that would be handy.

Hi @ade1066 I’ve tried the lager from this place, quite nice, it’s sugar free but not carb free - but still low carb at about 5g carb a bottle - they use moltodextrin

I react to all the sugar free sweeteners now, good for me but not when I fancy something sweet!

Hi, I'm the same with t2 and dont drink. I'll have 2 or 3 non alcoholic beers a month and only check on the shelves if low sugar. As I have so few, I dont worry about the carbs or anything else. Fits into my diet without any stress as to me that defeats the point of a beer in kicking off and just relaxing. That's me though.... oh, and I do, but not very often just order in the pub no questions asked. Just like all diabetics, you have to find what works for you
