Found out my last result was 7.0 after getting a 7.5 yippee. Can anyone tell me if this still means I am diabetic or not. Your help is appreciated. PS have got to see doc tomorrow anyway for this and also for BP as it is way too high Just want to put my mind at ease.

Sorry Claire, once a Diabetic always a Diabetic !

You can however become a very well controlled Diabetic, some even get their Hba1c level down to a non diabetic number BUT they are still Diabetic !

Doctors like to see Diabetics with a BP on or below 130/80 to help prevent complications.

Ah boo. Was trying to look on the bright side!!! Oh well at least I have support on here and from my hubby. Hopefully the doc will sort out my BP - last reading was 153/126. Will let you know tomorrow :?

just a quickie about blood pressure, make sure whoever i taking it uses a correct size cuff, if you have a larger than average arm and they use a regular cuff not the large maroon one it will give a falsly high reading.
