Interesting study on declining cognitive function over ageing where HbA1c is higher
Some fascinating figures on other things too though like this table
Those with a "normal" HbA1c have higher total cholesterol but lower trigs and higher HDL on average.
"Normal" in this study is interestingly sub 38.8 mmol/m. Pre-diabetes is between that and 47.5 mmol/m.
I ironically find the better my hba1c is the higher my blood pressure. Hence why I am evident that my liver output causes my diabetes and when it's restricted from output it raises my blood pressure. For me.
Carb restriction gives me slightly higher cholesterol but lower trigs and higher HDL too.
