Lucozade

I used to use lucozade but its really a bad way of getting you out of a hypo, why not just change to fresh orange juice in an emergency and that is available everywhere, it has the same effect on bg as lucozade, tastes better, very portable like lucozade and way more refreshing, mix it with spring water, its healthier especially with the juicy bits, infact any fresh juice can do it for you, find what you like. Just one lucozade will not just bring you out of a hypo but spike you like a sugar bomb, and all the processed sugar plays havock with the adrenal glands so your hypo moods swings will just freak. Fructose is a much gentler glycogen but equally as effective. Don't get sold out on the artificial products they push onto us if it has a label on it it is probably really bad for you in the long run.

I always keep a mango and orange juice in the fridge just in case of a low, imo mango juice is the natural equivalent of lucozade. 1 small glass and blood sugar is up. And i don't feel as ****** later.
