In our previous house we had a garden with two lovely old apple trees and I used to store the surplus crop on trays in the loft. We had suspended wood floors on the ground floor and i think it made it easier for wee mousies to get in. They used to get up to the apples and one year sampled every single one! For the most part they were little field mice and my husband used to hate trapping them.

I like mice too @Robbity my hubby leaves food in our garage for them and they make nests in the drawers where he keeps his tools! They also eat the food we put out for the birds☺
