Type 1 Mania

 
At the moment I think he's so deeply muddled that until we get some kind of plan in place to drag him back into a level of normalcy he can only see how things are affecting him, I'm sure once we can swing away from this current path he'll begin to feel better and that should help him appreciate the change/improvement and maybe he'll understand that it isn't just him.
 
Thinking of you @Picklepuss I'm T1 and have also suffered with my mental health.
I hope things get better for the both of you soon xx
 
Thank you so much, it really has been helpful having the positive and useful comments and kind thoughts of total strangers, it's made a difficult day more tolerable
 
Hey I used to have a boyfriend that went totally manic from being sweet and empathic he turned totally opposite he argumented all day and night and had grandior feelings of himself even thought he owned somebody elses proporty and Then also started drinking heavily which didn’t even calm him down. In the end as he wouldn’t have treatment I just had to get him out of my life when he started having outspoken fantasies of killing people he was angry with. When I turned to his family They knew and also told me They have helped him all that They could But that nobody could stand his personallity transformations and when most mad he also stole all he wanted from everybody. If you feel threatened Then do understand that you are the only one to save yourself and that most People won’t believe a person can transform that much. But They can especially when turning manic Big time
 
Hello picklepuss, I am glad that he is going to get some help. But what about you? Do you have anywhere to go ,even if its just for a little while? Sometimes it can really help to take a step back.
 
Hi I can escape into the garden or go for a walk and I've a really close friend who I'll meet up with in the next couple of weeks usually good as we put the world to rights and generally spend most of the time laughing. S o don't worry I've got my safety valves.
 
 
So sorry you had such an awful experience.

Lots of good things happening here the mental health team visiting every day district nurse also visiting every day doc has set next review for Tuesday wants to have a few days of the new meds the mental health team are administering and getting all his other stuff back on track so I'm feeling much better about everything.
 

oh that sounds really fine... then you´ll soon get your old lovely boyfriend back it sounds good luck <3
