Higher levels of biomarkers of dairy fat consumption are associated with a lower risk of developing type 2 diabetes, according to new research. The study was undertaken by an international consortium led by scientists at the MRC and Tufts University

A study involving over 60K participants over 20 years which appears to show that consumption of dairy products, especially yoghurt and cheese results in a lower incidence of developing T2D. The lower risk of developing T2D is independent of any other factors.
