Does anyone know it were allowed to have back massages or is it a complete no no thanks in advance Sam

Yeah it's fine... Or at least I am lol I get the quite often, the salon you go to should give you a consultation card to fill in if you've not been before and you can write on you have diabetes so they are aware

Yep totally fine.

Please note that I'm not basing this on any medical knowledge, just on the fact that I've had lots of massages & they have never had any impact on my blood sugar!

Thank You I had a facial yesterday that involved a shoulder massage which she did and found lots of knots, at the end she mentioned about a back massage this sounds really tempting and they do know that I have diabetes

I find if I get a massage where I inject my insulin it does seem to give it a boost. Sometimes my husband will massage my love handles or hip where I put the insulin right after I inject and it seems to have a little more strength but I wouldn't think a back massage would do anything. I think he's just working the insulin in more and I don't think it would have any effect hours after I take it. He gives me a foot and leg massage ,any nights and it does nothing to my bs
