Not much of a success story, I mean just happy about it and thought I would share it.
My colleague used to drink 4-5 boxes of energy drink every day +sweets, high carb foods +more sugary drinks +smoke half a pack of cigarettes. We work 4 days a week together, 9hours each day. She kept watching me with my low carb foods and all, asked me sometimes why this meals good why this ones not. She showed interest so I shared her some diabetic things, talked to her about nutritions as well. We get along very well since day 1, she always cheered me up when I was depressed with illnesses, diabetes and others. I thought she helped me a lot but slowly she started changing too because of me. Now she doesnt drink energy drinks and slowly changing sugar to stevia instead. Less smoke, less sweets. She actually started baking them at home using stevia, they taste good she leaves some in the fridge at work everytime she bakes something. Not much of a success story, I mean just happy about it and thought I would share it. I didnt think my diabetes and change in lifestyle would have an impact on anyone, but I see people around me, friends, family are happy to get on the train with me and try live even just a bit healthier and aware of what they actually take in their body. It makes me happy and gives me strenght. I dont know if this post ll be a help to anyone but I hope everyones on the right track. Have a good day !)
