I have a question that I am sure someone clever out there will be able to answer
Around 18mths ago at my six monthly check up the Doctor asked me where I was injecting my insulin. I told her around my stomach as that's the only place I have enough fat and that I was getting very bruised. She took a look and told me I needed to start going round the sides more and varying where I was injecting. Not only for the bruising but she said that I was showing signs of (*can't remember the medical term*), which was swelling due to injecting insulin in and around the same place too often.
I was delighted as I'm a skinny thing and the kids tease me about my "pouch".
Does anyone know the term?
