hi,

do you know which medication your doc is suggesting? There is more than one type of weekly injection for type 2s.

if you know the name of the medication, you can do a search for it and find other threads on the forum where people have discussed their experiences.

She was going to try me on a tablet called jardiance but there is quite a lot of side effects she thinks I will be better on the injection

Hi sorry for late reply site down last night. Yes it is extremely easy. I was very wary at first but once a week seemed better option and it has worked well.

When you are self financing you need to think about the ongoing cost of test strips. Some are much cheaper than others.
