I have been injecting Lantus at 10 pm. Do I assume it will be 9 pm tonight? That's what I did last year.

Well, I have no idea what the official line in it is, but what would you do if you forgot to take it at exactly 10pm? Surely there must be some modest flexibility is this?

An hours difference won't make any difference to lantus. Just take it at 10pm, it'll be fine.

I think so long as it's within an hour, then it's fine! Have I answered my own question? lol ThanksAndBreathe!

I also get in a similar mess when I hop across the channel!

@asparagusp you should move to Australia, particularly Queensland as we do not have daylight saving in this state.

Saves you getting confused about resetting clocks and other timing devices.

You will enjoy the Spring weather, 30° celsius on Wednesday, so it will be cool enough for a barbeque.

Edit: Just remembered you will have to put your pump , clocks & watches forwards 10 hours to be on AEST.

Perfect weather then. So tempted but for the 10 hour time difference! I'll just have to stay in Australia! I've been to Perth, Sydney and Melbourne many years ago.

Good job you do no not live in on the US west coast, they are 18 hours behind AEST here in Bundaberg.

You would have fun flying west and crossing the international dateline then.

I crossed the international dateline about 30 years ago in the South Pacific - I had two Christmas Days! - But no diabetes then. Happy times!

Did you ever find out what happened to the 12 months you lost inbetween?
