Hiya all having been a type 2 diabetic for ten years and at the age of 51. I decided enought was enought so went on a diet and cut out all the lovely nasty foods ive lost just under a stone in two weeks which has drastically altered my usualy bad readings so here comes the questions all help would be great

1 Im on 4 x 500mg metformin 1in the morning/afternoon/dinner time and bedtime + 28 ml novomix 30 twice a day
2 my readings are now 4-5 mornings 7 after 90 mins or back to 4-5 if im working this is day time
3 night time is low and most nights readings of 3.5 which is resulting in hypos
4 Do i adjust the novomix or stop with the metformin
my readings before this diet was 10-15 most of the time i feel no ill health from the diet just the hypos im currently eating about 1500 calories any help would be great mick

? dont know nut hopefully you eat something with carbs when your glucose is that low at night... a handfull peanuts or alike

I would suggest you contact your HCP and tell them you are going low. Sounds like you are over medicating for your carb consumption but I'm no doctor...
