This might sound like a completely stupid question but I guess thats the only way to learn.

I was getting an air bubble out of my tubing this evening and I heard a very very faint noise from the pump, almost in waves.

This would just be the motor/piston making this noise pushing insulin in to the tubing wouldn't it?

Hadn't noiticed it before and like I say it was very faint. Just curious thats all.

I can sometimes hear the motor on my Vibe whirring as it pushes the dose out. Once a minute I think.

I also posted on a medtronic facebook group that I am a member and they confirmed the ticking I was hearing was just insulin being pushed in to the tube.

Yes mine purrs away sometimes too!
