Meg's Mum

My amazing daughter Meg, was DX 6 weeks ago with T1 and I cant believe how this has turned our life upside down. It seems all conversations lead back to diabetes and it does get me down so I can only imagine how Meg feels. She is truly inspirational - from day 1 she self injects and has taken ownership of this - but emotionally she is a bit wobbly. Up and down days! Hopefully things will settle down into some sort of normality - she is very interested in having the pump fitted so this may be less restrictive for her....only time will tell x
