My dad has type 2 diabetes.last night he started drinking and got drunk maybe like 1 quarter of a whisky bottle.so when he drank his sugar level was high so he to his med and I read that taking metformin and drinking can cause acid something in the liver plus he has liver problems what should I do it was 1 day ago he says he feels fine.should I make him go to the hospital or nothing is going to happen
