I have been taking metformin for about a year and a half, usually 2 a day.For the last couple of months I have occasionally been waking up to low blood sugar, around 3.5. My blood sugar then goes up to about 6.
Has anyone else experienced this or know why it might be happening?
My typical fasting level is around 5.8 - 6.0.
