Thanks, Doug. (I clicked 'like' but seems not working at present!) I am not sure if you are replying to a thread i started in Type one forum? I was asking about it as i had seen this , and i do not know what kind of protection it is talking about. Does anyone know whether it includes protection from Afib? Even more relevant given the findings in the latest research Diabetes.co.uk has put on yesterday, from the PREFER study. Has any diabetic on insulin, Type one or Type 2, normal BMI, been prescribed metformin to help prevent Afib?
