are all you type 2 people who are both hypothyroid and type 2 aware that this phenomenon can actually make your GP put you on a too low level of levothyrocine if he/she only uses TSH as indicator to decide your levels of prescribed levothyroxine/synthyroid ?

hey just found that metformin apparently can make people produce too little TSH , which might be a gigantic problem to many hypothyroid people, as their test results would look like they are too high in thyroid hormons levels in this situation.. like 50% too low production of thyroid stimulation hormon...
which also according to some can be the reason to even more risk of bone-loss and fracktures--- well I am not really sure if the last claim is a fact or just a mix up of what hormons affect density of bones...

recently my GP has been wanting to put me lower and lower in levothyroxine, even suggesting that I stopped my intake totally for a period, which I have denied to do (my gland is dead), but have been going lower and lower, and yesterday I hardly couldn´t keep my body-temperature... and the same this morning... so I started to look around for an explanation and by insident I stumbled over somebody claiming metformin could be the problem, and then of cause I tried to find any information of Scientific research on the subject... and found that there actually is something to it...
a lot of hypothyroid people do actually strive to loose weight already , and this problem could make it even more difficult to them to get a healthy body... if the GP is not aware that the TSH in this combination can not be the sole indicator of how the level of thyrodea hormons are in their patients bodies.
