Metformin menstrual periods

Hi
Been on 3 metformin a day since October, periods been fine but I am a week late this month, no chance I'm pregnant. Has metformin done this to anyone else?

Is it a known/listed side effect? If not could it be something else? Stress? Menopause? (dont want to offend but done know your age)
