Hi all, I noticed the past couple of months I have started suffering from hypnogogic hallucinations at night again. I wake my husband up at least once a night to tell him about people I can see in our bedroom, or I just start telling/screaming. The onset coincides with me being put on Metformin for my diagnosis of assumed type 2.
The only other time in my life that I have suffered from this is when I was put on Metformin 13 years ago for a brief period prior to fertility treatment, which has led me to think maybe the Metformin is the cause.
Has anyone else experienced similar?
