Are you in the USA?

From my understanding, I would not expect you to go on a pump
- it is uncommon for t2 to use a pump
- typically, injections are used to get the right level of insulin even when a pump is an option.

Did you mean to put this thread in the Pump forum?
You may (or may not) have more responses in the T2 forum: as I mentioned above pumps are unusual for t2.

But, as a pumper, I would say you are more than welcome here

It will more than likely be injections that you have, I don’t know of any T2s with a pump, they’re mainly for T1.
@helensaramay is also correct in saying that before a pump is even considered your diabetes team will have to work out how much insulin you need before you can go on a pump.
You have to apply for funding to get one (or you did a few years ago when I got mine) and you have to meet a certain criteria.
