Miss meringue (chocolate)

Ok after dinner +2 hours, I have a BG of 5.4. I fancy something sweet, so I opened my new low carb box of Miss Meringue Chocolate things.

It's a big tub of about 50 odd mini bite chocolate meringues, they are 8g per serving, sounds high but it is a serving is 25 of these little things. So I had 5 just to damper my sweet craving and it worked, satisfied now (must have been the roast chicken).

5 works out around 1.6g carbs.

They were quite chocolaty, once you bite down on them they kinda went ever so chewy which I kinda liked and sorted my craving for something chocolaty. The packaging could have been a bit better as the box got slightly crumpled and a few of the pieces were crumbled.

I would give them 5/10, good enough for a quick choc fix, 5 was enough.

Ok off to bed, my BG levels after my meringues are 5.3, so it's gone down might have to upgrade them to 6/10.

Make sure you transfer your meringues to a very good airtight container - once the air gets to them they go yucky very quickly- the ones I had -SOME ONE???? - left the lid off and they resembled something from Dr Who! -They are a great little standby to have in your cupboard - I wasn't keen on the choccie ones but the plain ones are passable with cream & berries.
