A dermatologist gave me this tip which you may find useful. Many diabetics suffer from dry skin particularly to the lower part of the legs and the feet. I definately do. In this hot weather it is worth keeping your moisturiser/topical oinment in the fridge. If you apply it after washing and drying it provides much more relief (especially if itchy) than it does ifit is at a warmish room temperature. If you have been prescribed some unusual cream it may be worth checking the insert or asking your chemist to ensure there are no issues.
