Hi everyone. I think my 2yr olds second molars are coming through and have noticed her blood sugars have risen for the past couple of days-has anyone else noticed this/is this normal? I've been correcting her down (on a pump) and used calpol/anbesol for the pain but if this isn't the cause then obviously I need to change her insulin rates - could be growth spurt I guess... Thanks

I'd agree this could be the cause - as well as the other usual million reasons bloods sometimes go a bit wonky! Seriously though, the poor little mite is probably feeling a bit rough with her teething. Keep a close eye on things and if you are concerned then please ensure you call your clinic or whomever looks after your daughter.

Hopefully, she'll be right as rain in no time.
