Monday's Child Verse

Monday's Child

Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child must work for a living,
But the child that's born on the Sabbath day,
Is fair and wise and good and gay.

Do you know what day you were born on ? My daughter looked it up ( because I have never known) for me and I was born on a Tuesday.
So we looked up my mum and my dad's birth dates and both of them were born on a Tuesday too !
My 2 daughters were born on a Monday and my son was born on a Wednesday.

How about you ?

Monday’s child has got type 1.
Tuesday’s child’s another one.
Wednesday’s child is sweet type 2.
Thursday’s child is celiac too.
Friday’s child is diagnosed LADA.
Saturday’s child finds control harder.
But the Sabbath child is with MODY blessed
(and modesty forbids the rest).

Sunday.

If anybody doesn't know what day they were born on Google Swiss Ephemeris ???? and the year you were born and a lot of what might seem to be gobbledegook will display but you can check the day for the date you were born.

Monday - certainly true with me .
Am very blonde and fair in face/skin tones .

My own daughter was born on a Thursday .
And has yet - far to go too .
She claims to know everything to me - (her mother)
Always shouts I know ! - at me . (whilst her eyeballs)

My brother was born on a Wednesday .
Always been miserable n morose in mood and expression .
Is this classed as full of 'woe' ?

Hubby was born on a Sunday - very sweetnatured
easygoing and always loving n positive .
Always fair and cares for all family/friends/neighbours .
Spot on - I would say for him

Mum was on born a Saturday - even now at 83yrs old
works hard still - a very strong active lady .
Up at dawn - doing the ironing !
Irons everything too - even all their underwear .
I keep telling her - why bother ? no-one s going to see it
She says - it feels so lovely freshly ironed

You can also ask Goggle directly: "What day of the week was [your birth date]?"

I was another Sunday baby: I'm not really fair - certainly not of face or hair, nor occasionally in other ways! But I'm certainly much wiser than I used to be, but didn't arrive in the world that way. I try to be good especially as far as diabetes goes - but don't always succeed, and i can't say that I'm gay in either sense of the word.... At the moment though, I think I should have been born on a Wednesday, as i feel rather too full of woe!

Talking of Sunday babies my MIL who is over 100years old now was born Easter Day in 1913, and it wasn't until 2008 that she had another Easter birthday - much worse by far than being a leap year baby!!
