MORE SUGAR MORE INSULIN

I don't know anything about insulin, as I am managing to control my condition by diet and exercise, but this idea sounds decidedly dodgy to me.

Why would you want to be eating more ice cream and sweets if your body has a problem dealing with it? :shock:

your insulin is a fixed twice daily regime so you can't increase your insulin to cope with extra carby treats like ice cream.

If you would like more dietary flexibility you would need to go onto separate injections for basal blood sugars and meal blood sugars. This will move you to at least 5 jags a day. This tends to be a bit more expensive but does allow more meal flexibililty and more likelihood of good blood sugar control.
