Looking for advice my morning blood sugar levels are between 10 and 11.5 this is after sleep and before eating. I don't eat after 2100 and test between 0600 and 0800. I'm not sure why these are always so high my control isn't the best and daily tests range from 9 to 13. Getting no help from GP so thought I would ask on here. Thanks Cratat

How are your readings during the day, ie before then 2 hours after eating? I aim for no more than 2mmol/L rise.
How are you trying to control your blood glucose?

When my daytime numbers went down I still had high morning numbers for a while - these are usually the last to resolve.
See Dawn phenomenon https://www.diabetes.co.uk/blood-glucose/dawn-phenomenon.html

Test before and after meals are between 9 and 13 and usually don't go up by more than 2 after a meal
