Hi all,

Bit of a strange one, not your typical thread topic, but.... my mouth won't stop watering. You know, like when you're about to be sick.

I was admitted to hospital, vomiting, a week ago with Ketoacidosis and very high bg levels ... caused by a combination of an infection and a faulty cannula... We think. I was put on an IV drip to bring my blood sugars back down and to re-hydrate me. All went well, and I was discharged the same day, but since then my mouth seems to be continuously watering, especially so after meals.

Has anyone else experienced this? Anyone know why it might be happening?

Cheers,
Sam.

I've no idea Sam tbh, anyway by replying I've 'bumped' your post up the forum in the hope that someone can help you.

Is it water or saliva .....of a great amount...there are drugs to relax muscles which produce it and drugs to slow the amount down...
It is a hard problem to control if it is, but meds can help...

Very worth seeking medical advise to get some help and advice, look at drug dompridome .....see if you think it would work for you or rather does it give you a clue which you can liken your symptoms to....

If you are over producing it is a health issue which makes you very tired as well, sorry if I am on the wrong path here, just trying to help,
Take medical advise .....I am just giving ideas....good luck ....Kat
