Hi....does anyone have experience of relocating from the Uk to Dubai with a type 1 diabetic teenager?? I'm desperate to find out how the prescriptions work. My daughter is starting on the closed loop next month, how will I obtain the CGM's/pumps/insulin plus all the other prescriptions she needs. Any advice would be very much appreciated

I would suggest getting yourself a consultant in Dubai.
Kings College operates a clinic in Dubai - (there are others if you google search)

Beyond sorting prescriptions and a specialist in Dubai, the move itself can get tricky with all the medical gear. I’ve looked into some relocation help for similar reasons, and found a few that actually get the medical side of things. One worth checking out is this one for relocation support in Dubai: https://www.smartmovers.ae/.
