Hi carb Foods
Woke to the sad news that Muhammad Ali, has finaly heard the last bell!
RIP.

He said he was the greatest, but unlike others he backed it up in the ring.

He really was the Greatest...I used to have all his fights and me and my boys would regularly watch them when they were younger. I can just hear him in my head even now with his pepping of one liners and that cadence in his voice. What a sad loss.

Very sad news but a blessing too given his state of health, he was a legend and will be long remembered.

I don't follow any sport, and don't approve of boxing. But I watched Muhammed Ali's fights and had a huge respect for him.
RIP.

Another one sorry to hear this sad news, he has a great character and a great boxer.

RIP Cassius

I'm not sure he would have appreciated that sentiment.

"Cassius Clay is a slave name. I didn't choose it, and I didn't want it. I am Muhammad Ali, a free name, and I insist people using it when speaking to me and of me."

He was one of the most influential people of the 20th century, which for a mere "sportsman" is quite an achievement.

Even so, it's the name I first knew him by so that's the one I'll remember. I don't even know why he objected to it. Cassius Clay the historical figure fought slavery didn't he? And Cassius itself means 'vain'......

We've lost "The Greatest" today. He will never be replaced and nor should we look. May he now rest in peace.
