My journey into BG Monitoring.


No major miracle expected (but would be nice LOL).
I think yesterday was just a particularly good day.
This morning's BG reading was 6.1

But, like I say, I'll get a few days worth of numbers before I decide if I should pester the doctor or not.

And thanks for the compliments, I was only ever this determined once before and that was when I quit smoking.
I was about to become a dad and never wanted my children to ever see me with a cigarette in my hands.
So I quit, cold turkey and that was 9 years ago.
 
Absolutely!
Still learning what is good and bad, what spikes my BG and what doesn't. Early days but I feel pretty good about getting it so much lower than it was.
I find myself in competition with my food diary. Yesterday I had 30g of carbs. Today I aim for less!
I'm trying to be a more positive person.
 
I think you might be one of those lucky people who can all but return to normal if you see what I mean, like some of the people did on the Newcastle Diet and indeed @AndrewColvin
Keep up the dieting and eating right and you'll get there.
That would be nice.
But I will definitely stick with a healthy eating/exercising lifestyle from here on out regardless.
