Thanks @Blitzie! I got a voucher. I see from their website the vouchers are valid in the Co-Op and Budgens, so at least some of their stores must stock Oppo. I'll have to check in my local Co-Op which is closer than Waitrose. If you go onto their site, you can find the nearest place to you, that stocks it, plus there`s a £1 off voucher you can print off.

Well I just got back from my second ice cream mission. I walked to the Brent Cross Shopping Centre about 3 miles away. The Waitrose there had run out of Oppo ice cream completely. I had a look in Holland & Barretts, and they only had Salted Caramel in stock. It's £4.99 in H&B, and at the moment you can get a second half price. As they didn't have the Mint Choc I didn't buy any.
Still it wasn't a wasted trip as I called into Tesco on my way home and bought frozen kale, buttersquash, leeks and courgettes. My freezer drawers are now filled to capacity, so I couldn't fit in any more ice cream anyway.
Sounds like a diabetes.co.uk has cleared them out.... HahaQUOTE]
I thought Kevin6Potts had got there before me!
You know I think I will. Monday it is. ♡♥♡Easy-peasey, Vicky - get your trundle suitcase, put a chiller bag inside with a few freezer blocks (frozen) and hop on that train into toon - that Oppo is within your grasp!
@ickihun If you have a Co-Op or Budgens in Sunderland they might stock Oppo ice cream.I need to get turners fine foods to supply it. Waitrose dont deliver to Sunderland. WHAT!!!!!
I need to make a complaint.
No waitrose. Holland and barrett dont stock it in sunderland either.
I have to train it to newcastle but will be melted by time i get back. I need a refridgerated van (load).
I might get my older son into distributing low carb food. Like meals on wheels but low carb. mind u he's only 9. i guess it would have to be me -again.
It's never too early to eat ice cream! I have a batch in the maker as I type and managed to find the Oppo ice cream at the farm shop today so bought a tub of salted caramel. They did have the mint chocolate. Has anyone tried this yet?Well I did a brisk 2 mile walk to my nearest Waitrose to be there at 8am opening time. There were about a dozen tubs of the vanilla, a couple of tubs of the salted caramel, and no mint choc left on the shelf. I sneakily hid the salted caramel tubs behind the vanilla ones so they wouldn't be grabbed while I looked for a couple of other non-melty items I needed.
So I got 2 tubs of salted caramel and 1 vanilla (not being greedy like @KevinPotts with his 6 Potts). Also as it came to over £10 I got a free Weekend Guardian with my Waitrose card - bonus!
I got the Tube home to avoid melting, and got them in freezer within 10 minutes of buying.
I might take a walk to the next nearest Waitrose a bit later to see if they have the Mint Choc left. It's good to have some motivation to walk as I've got a bit bored with walking round the local park over the last couple of days.
Is it too early to eat ice cream?
I'll check tomorrow but holland&barrett in the city centre doesn't have freezers, just fridges. But it may have changed? I hope it stocks it. Saves me a trip to eldon square, newcastle.@ickihun If you have a Co-Op or Budgens in Sunderland they might stock Oppo ice cream.
Edit: I had a look on the Oppo website store finder, and according to that their ice cream is supposed to be available at the Holland&Barretts in Sunderland and North Shields.
So that offer in Waitrose has proved popular ... managed to get some zippo, only Vanilla left though
