My Low Carb Ice Cream....Yummy:)

Not only was Waitrose cleared out, but all Oppo shelf space promo/non promo has been removed.

I am wondering whether they have delisted them in view of the company being unable to meet promo volume/retailer expectations.

If so that would be a shame.

Any other people noticed this in Waitrose?

I think I'll write to the company and ask them directly

Yeah.... My friend just contacted me to say Waitrose Newmarket have Oppo back in stock.

She picked up 2 x salted caramel and a mint choc for me.

I bought a tub of Salted Caramel yesterday.

Must say it tastes rather sweeter than I would prefer.

Tried all 3 now and I hate to say it but I don't really like any of them especially the mint chocolate it made me feel really sick . I think I'll stick to my double cream with my strawberries .

They are very sweet...but prior to diag, I loved sweet things, so an indulgent treat for me

Went on their website and found my local Co-op stocked it. Got one caramel and one mint but then when I got home I managed to polish off the caramel during the day.

Still got the mint for my birthday later this month but then no more for me - too tempting
 
Looking forward to Ocado brining me ONE (just the one!) tub of Oppo today - tried to order more but a diabetic in Cambridge by the name of Kevin has apparently bought it all

Our local waitrose has none at all and has removed the labels from the freezer.. I reckon that @KevinPotts bloke has done a quick trip down to the south coast and bought up the lot!
 
You don't know how lucky you are in the UK having low carb ice cream. Absolutely no sign of it anywhere here in Germany :-(

Sorry to hear that. This new little company OPPO may well start exporting at some stage, though my guess is the costs of refrigerated travel will up,the price a bit and there may be tariffs eventually....sadly

Her favourite is the mint chock, mine salted caramel, but as you can imagine I get through mine more quickly and then I start pinching...oh... I get into such bother

It will be worth the price if we get it here As usual Germany is not at the forefront of low carbing, we can't even get sugar free jelly here

I haven't had ice cream for 4 years, since experimenting shortly after diagnosis which resulted in a large spike and am drooling at the thought.
